Drug charges laid in Dryden

A 31-year-old man has been arrested following a drug bust in Dryden.

The OPP along with street crime units from Red Lake and Sioux Lookout, the Kenora Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, the Northwest Region Crime Unit and a K-9 unit executed a search warrant on a residence on St. Charles Street.

A long list of drugs were seized including cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, hydromorphone and oxycondone.

Other evidence of drug trafficking were found.

Four charges of drug trafficking were laid, along with two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear in Kenora Court on Thursday.
