Sioux Lookout launches post card campaign

The Municipality of Sioux Lookout has launched a post-card campaign as part of its Strategic Plan.

Economic Development Officer Jennifer Esposito says they are asking the public for feedback on what the community would look like in 10 years’ time.

“We have post cards at a number of departments, including here at the Town Hall and the Recreation Center,” explains Esposito.

“We’re hoping the public will share their vision for an ideal future for our community, and we’re hoping to get all ages involved in this exercise.”

Esposito says the town wants to gather as much input as possible.

“We’ve reached out to schools to see if we can distribute them and get some classrooms to participate.  So, residents can draw or write their vision for what they think Sioux Lookout would look like, if its thriving, in 10 years.”

The town is calling the Strat Plan: Vision 2035.
