Lake of the Woods District Hospital says it’s still a “mask friendly” place, even though the need for one entering the building has been lifted.
A mask mandate was put in place back in February because of the number of people with respiratory illnesses this past winter.
The hospital says as of today, masking is no longer mandatory in patient care areas.
But face masks will still be available at the screening desk at the entrance and all patient care units.
Patients who have a respiratory illness or are experiencing a fever will still be required to wear a mask.
