City of Dryden receiving Connecting Link funding

The of Dryden getting Connecting Link Funding again.

The provincial government has announced $3 million.

The money will be used for the reconstruction of Duke Street between Casimir Avenue and Earl Avenue.

Mayor Jack Harrison says the funding will help renew a major and much-travelled portion of Duke St, which is a section of Highway 594.

Harrison adds the funding is extremely important as it aids in the on ongoing efforts to replace aging infrastructure in the city.

The town of Fort Frances is also getting Connecting Link funding this year.
