It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ronald (Ron) Delorme on March 22, 2025 at his home peacefully in Kenora, ON.
Ron was born in Kenora on October 4,1950 to parents Frank & Kay Delorme he was the eldest son of 10 siblings. He was adored by his wife Joan of 47 years. His daughter Theresa, son in law Nathan, granddaughter Ella and companion Milo. He was extremely proud of his family.
Ron was a hard worker, from his days as a self-employed contractor. He loved all the people who he had the opportunity to collaborate with over the years and all the special friendships he made along the way.
Ron’s true passion as a car enthusiast brought him to many car shows around the area. Making great memories and many lifetime friendships. Especially Saturday mornings with the ‘guys’ and many BS conversations.
Ron was an incredible man. He felt he was a friend to everyone he met. He was always there to lend a helping hand. Ron will be so missed by his lifelong greatest friends. Jack, Garnet and Butch, who will always remember him as ‘Curly’ & ‘Hey Wire’.
We would like to thank the Thunder Bay Cancer Hospital for the helping us achieve his final wishes in getting him home for his last days.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at the Super 8 Minis Hall on April 5, 2025 from 12:00pm – 4:00pm
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Thunder Bay Cancer Hospital.
