Two-month long trafficking investigation concludes with arrest

The Kenora OPP have seized about $185,000 worth of illegal drugs.

It’s part of a two-month long investigation of drug trafficking in the Kenora area.

The Kenora OPP, the Winnipeg Police and the Treaty Three Police began their investigation back in March.

On May 6th, a 64-year-old Kenora man was arrested.

Officers executed a search warrant on a house and a vehicle and found suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, oxycodone, hydromorphone tablets and over $5,000 in Canadian currency.

He faces four charges of trafficking and one count of possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.

He appeared in Kenora court today on the charges.
