Kenora Fire 20 continues to be a significant fire of concern in the region.
The fire has grown to roughly 23,281 hectares in size.
The fire ignited in Ingolf on Monday, roughly 43 kilometres south of Wabaseemoong Independent Nations, which underwent evacuation on Tuesday.
The fire has now moved to within 2.5 kilometres of the community.
A few key personnel and firefighting staff remain in Wabaseemoong.
Waterbombers are providing air attack on the parts of the fire closest to the community, and crews on the ground are setting up sprinkler systems on critical infrastructure and other priority structures within the community.
FireRanger crews and bucketing helicopters are also working in the Ingolf area, where the fire originated, to maintain sprinkler systems and establish hoselines.
All travel and use of roads, including Gundy Road north of Tannis Lake, Pickerel Lake Road beyond the Pelicanpouch access point at the nine-kilometre mark, and Cygnet Lake Road, is prohibited unless authorized by a travel permit.
All use of lakes and waterways within the area, including the Winnipeg River below Whitedog Falls (UTM 15U 366399 5553102), Eaglenest Lake, Tetu Lake, Cygnet Lake, Rice Lake, Malachi Lake, Otter Lake, Macara Lake, Longpine Lake, and Dagimabrop Lake is prohibited.
All use and occupation of Crown Land, within the hatched area identified on the Implementation Order Map is prohibited.

Meanwhile, Manitoba RCMP confirmed Wednesday afternoon a man and a woman died as a result of the forest fire in Lac Du Bonnet.
There are no reports of unaccounted people related to the wildfire there.
One fire northeast of Lac Du Bonnet is listed as 100,000 hectares. Whiteshell Provincial Park is closed due to the extreme fire conditions.
