Priscilla was a kindred & free-spirited soul, there was nothing to hold her down. She was born in Winnipeg, MB. She achieved and accomplished to obtain her grade 12 at Wabaseemoong School, class of 1997. She was once employed with the Whitedog Social Services for quite a few years. She also took on other employment opportunities. She was given a childhood nickname, Boobush. Growing in Wpg, she was a strong protector of her younger sister Char & youngest brother late Reuben. Priscilla’s passion was reading and writing poetry, listening to a wide range of music genres, collecting stickers, going for long walks, spending special moments with her niece Wynter as they had strong loving connection with each other, enjoyed colouring, she sure loved her butterflies and her scratch tickets. She loved doing any kind of puzzles. She enjoyed her art and crafts. She was a well-organized person as she had to label all and everything.
That moment her sister Char was informed of her insignificant admission to the hospital, it took major impact of her life. It was the hardest decision ever to decide. It’ll never be the same to see her smile. Hear her laugh and the long conversations. No words will ever describe the magnitude of what they shared. The love, they had was a huge part of her life, it was profound the most joyful days of her life. Priscilla will deeply and truly missed by all the others who truly knew her, as her life was cut short from the ordeal she didn’t deserve and to experience the ill-sufferage nobody should endure.
We would like to give thanks to the workers at the Kenora Fellowship centre for their hospitality and gratitude they had shown her. The 2 ICU nurses and Dr. Rizit. The paramedics to rush her to the hospital. Cory at Brown’s Funeral Home, Clara Mandamin for being there until the very end, Rene Downwind for being our big sister, also to Floyd for guiding and being Char’s support during this difficult and extremely emotional time.
Her contagious smile and laughter will always be her legacy. She’s finally reunited with both parents, & lil bro Roo. Until we meet again, forever loved and sadly missed.
