A two-and-a-half weeklong closure of Coker Road is over.
The section east of Kelly Road is open again.
The city says it had to close the road in that area due to concerns about high water levels on Black Stugeon Lake, particularly on Rice Bay.
That portion of Coker was closed on May 9th because of concern over the safety of motorists travelling it.
City council is once against looking a long-term plan for the road to make sure high water doesn’t close it in the future.
