Ronald Koostachin
November 14, 1950 – July 31, 2025
Ronnie was born in Fort Severn, ON and came from a family of 12. He loved living off the land during the years that he lived up north. He spent much of his childhood attending residential school in Attawapiskat.
He lived in Kenora for 20+ years where he passed away. He had 5 children, Darrell, Ann (deceased 2023) Gabriel, Anthony and Leo. He had 9 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren.
Today as we lay him to rest, we choose to focus on the good and happy memories that we shared with him. We, his family, are so happy we got to see him and that we are able to pay our final respects to him today.
The viewing and funeral service will take place at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday August 8, 2025 from at 11:00 am-1:00 pm with Pastor Frank Kowal officiating interment will take place immediately following at the Lake of the Woods Cemetery.
