It is with sincere sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Shelly Fisher (1985-2023).

Shelly passed away suddenly in her home on November 22, 2023, at a young age of 38. She was a mother, daughter, sister, niece, great niece, auntie, great auntie, cousin, and a friend. She was born on April 5th, 1985, in Kenora Ontario, to Glenda Fisher and Roderick Cameron. She lived in Wabaseemoong for most part of her life.

Shelly was predeceased by her father Roderick Cameron; grandparents Josephine Fisher, Cornelius Sr., Joe Cameron and Julia Kabestra; sister Jessica Boucher-Chicago (Kelly); aunties; Sharon Fisher, Jennifer Fisher, Karen Fisher, Mary Cameron, Irene Cameron, Emma Cameron-Skead, Emma McDonald-Paishk, Elizabeth Cameron-Green; uncles; Cornelius Jr. Fisher, Roy McDonald, David Cameron, Louie Cameron (1), and Louie Cameron (2); niece Shayna Kelly-White, along many other relatives too numerous to mention.

Shelly is survived by her children Glenna, Mariucz, Kadafi, Tatianna, and Jediah. Although Shelly was not able to spend as much time as she wanted with all of her children, she spoke about them frequently, as loved them all profoundly, and held them close to her heart. She is also survived by her mother Glenda (aka Keenjick), brothers; Blair and Joel Fullmer (Desiree), sisters; Kandace, Mabeline, Falcon, Frances, and Julia. Nieces and nephews; Aleisha, Harvin, Cayden, Ethan, Keelyn, Meshkane, Ryver, Raven, Rayanne, Raya, Noah, Jesse, Huntley, Curtis, Cheyenne, Harvey, and Declan, Falcon and tribe; great nieces and nephews Oren and lil Richard (Frances grandchildren), and many cousins aunts, uncles, and friends too numerous to mention.

As a child Shelly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her cousins; Sherri, late Charlie, Isaac, Dimitri, Marvin, Trevor, Nathan, Eveline, Brenden, Terrien, Ryan, Jeremy, Billy, and Robert. She loved to sing and dance and enjoyed following her big cousins around and doing what they did. As an adult, she enjoyed cooking, listening to music, hanging around with friends, and driving around with her son Jediah.

Shelly had a strong support comprised of friends and family whom she leaned on during difficult times. Her relationship to her Aunt Brenda and Uncle Gordie, as well as some of her close friends, mainly Clara, Harriet, and Beatrice, were particularly very vital to her, providing immense strength. Her laughter, sense of humour, caring nature, frequent calls and texts will be deeply missed.

A wake service will begin on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 1:00pm at the Wabaseemoong Community Hall. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 11:00am at the same location with Pastor Frank Kowal officiating, burial to follow at Goshawk cemetery.
