Jay (Christian) Cowley
August 5, 1972 – May 26, 2024

Jay (Christian) Cowley – a resident of Whitefish Bay First Nation passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

He was predeceased by his mother Susan Williams, brother Jonathan Cowley, father Michael James Cowley and his uncle William Bird, nephew Matthew and niece Sonya.

He is survived by his sister Merritt Cowley, his brother Timothy (Karen) Cowley, sister in law Roberta Crow, as well as his uncle Roderick (Louise) Mandamin. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Melissa and Shawna and her great grandchildren Bryson, Bravyn, Tianna, Caylee, Marcus, Mariah, Madison, Shaleah, Darius, Deon and D-Shawn Cowley, Liam, Dorian, Tristan Fair, Colt and Brooks Crow and Willow and Sunshine Crow.

Wake service will begin on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 12:00pm at the Peshonigeb Cultural Centre. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 10:00am at the Peshonigeb Cultural Centre with burial to follow in Whitefish Bay First Nation.
