A long time fire chief in the City of Kenora has passed away.
Warren Brinkman died Monday morning.
Brinkman was chief of the Kenora Fire and Emergency Services Department for 16 years and helped oversee the build of the new fire hall on Barsky’s Hill.
He was also very involved in organizing Safe Grads during his tenure and was part of the Safe Communities committee.
After retiring he was fire chief at the Longbow Lake Volunteer Fire Department.
The city is flying it’s flags at half mast in his memory.
