It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear beloved Mother Lucia Melnick (Puls)at the age of 97 on November 5, 2023 with family by her side. She was loved and will be missed deeply.
Lucia had many friends and was a well loved member of the community in Kenora for all of her volunteer work and musical contributions.
Lucia was predeceased by her husband John Melnick, daughter Mary Ballentyne, parents, Matheau Puls, Lamberta Puls, brothers Matheau Puls, Eddie Puls.
Survived by her sister Beatrix VanDiessen, dear mother of Veronica (Ron) Hart, Lucia (Kevin) Taylor, Michael (Kathy) Melnick, Rocky (Heidi) Melnick, Bianca (Tom) Cave. Loved by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also many nieces and nephews family and friends.

We are in the process of arranging a celebration of life for Lucia to commence summer of 2024 and will announce details soon.
