The Angels came and took him away, to be with his Lord- What a glorious day!

Paul Rawluk, age 98, of Kenora, Ontario passed away on Saturday November 25, 2023.

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother at Pinecrest Home for the Aged. Many thanks to the staff for the care, kindness and compassion that they provided for Paul during his final years.

Paul was born on July 20, 1925 to Stephan and Michalina Rawluk and lived a wonderful life in the Kenora area. In his earlier years, Paul enjoyed being self-employed in the trucking and contracting business until his retirement in 1986. Paul and Helen were well known for hosting gatherings with family and friends. Paul also loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his later years, Paul also developed a great passion for gardening.

Paul was predeceased by his parents, his loving wife Helen, and siblings Helen, Lillian, and Mike.

He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sister Josie and brother Tony. Also left to mourn his loss are sons Allen, Ron (Louise) and daughter Debbie. Precious grandchildren are Reagan (Clayton), Shalene (Wes), Ryan (Shannon), Kevin (Maria), Allyse and Reece. Great grandchildren Kiera (Brentin), Brett, Ethan, Hudson, Halo, Abigail and Kit. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Internment will be at the Ukrainian Cemetery at a later date.
