Leanne Ulanda Muckle passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the Heart Institute of Ottawa at the age of 31.
She was predeceased by her uncles, Stanley Muckle and Johnny Muckle, her aunties Nancy, Maryann, and Melvina Muckle, her cousins Sheldon Muckle, Russell Muckle, Nathan Muckle, Russell James Muckle, her great aunts and uncles, Alex Muckle, Rex Muckle, Maurice Muckle, John Kent, Elizabeth Kent, Mary Muckle, Margaret Carpenter, Annie Boyd, Ivan Muckle, Stephanie, Miranda, Florence Carpenter, and Linda Muckle.
She leaves behind her children, the lights and loves of her life, Grayson Craig Devenport and Adelina Yaretzi Hernandez Muckle. Her mother Mavis Muckle, brothers and sisters, Jonathan (Rachel), Donavon, Chantelle (Shade), and Sidney and Fontanna. Her aunties and uncles, Annette, Mavis, Gloria Paishk (Gus), Wayne (Myra), Charles (Charlene), Melvina (Roger). Her cousins Erin, Farrah, Ryan, James, Roe (Lanna), Reil (Jess), Rheanna (Peter), Melissa, Brittney, Stanley, Lucinda, Kylie, Joelle (Naz), Michelle (Russell), April (Terry), Savannah (Lyle), and Chris J. Cameron, cousins Philip Kent, Maurice Muckle, Rodrick Kent, Doris Henry, Sally Hunter and Ken Carpenter.
Leanne also leaves behind her foster parents Stewart and Karen Campbell, sisters Terra Albany, Nycci Carpenter (Dino), Christine Campbell (Barry) and Trevor Boyd (Cassie) and Susan Devenport, Martin Devenport (Doretha) and Naomi Devenport (Rachel) who also took Leanne under her wing in the later years of Leanne’s young life. Leanne also leaves behind many nephews and nieces whom she loved and adored. Keegan, Kayla, Huxley, Waabigwan, Waaseeya, Tyanna, Anthony, Cami, Cooper, Lainey, Kiki and Lennon, Rylie, Courtney, Axel, Alex, and Audrey, Courage and Isabella. She also leaves behind extended family and friends too numerous to mention.
Leanne loved her children with all her heart, and wanted to give them all the love and opportunities that she possibly could. She loved spending time with family and friends, listening to music, enjoying nature, laughing, joking, and making memories with loved ones, Family was very important to her, and she cherished even the simple impromptu family get-togethers. Leanne was a beautiful, loving caring and very special person that will be missed tremendously by all who knew her.
A wake service will begin on Saturday, December 22, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Whitedog Community Hall, Whitedog, Ontario. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at 10:00am at Whitedog Community Hall. Leanne will be laid to rest in Whitedog, Ontario.
