A major infrastructure project is to start next week in Keewatin.
Moncrief Construction says it will begin storm sewer work and road improvements on 10th Street on Monday.
The work will take place from Ottawa Street up to Highway 17.
The project is expected to complete by mid August.
In the meantime, the city says 10th Street will have to be closed at different times throughout the project and pedestrians will be diverted around the construction zone when it’s necessary to close the sidewalks.
Detour signs will be posted, but local traffic will be permitted.
Access to the Old Keewatin Ball Field and Harvest Kenora’s Home Run Garden will moved to Superior Street.
