The Lake of the Woods Control Board says it may start reducing outflow through the Norman Dam to the Winnipeg River sometime next week.

With the hot weather, and little rain, water levels continue to go down.

Over the past week, the lake went down another 2 centimeters and they are expected to drop another 3 to 6 centimeters in the next seven days.

Lake of the Woods still remains high for this time of year and the Norman Dam remains fully open to help bring the water levels down on the lake.
