The first-ever affiliate draft has been held by the SIJHL.
The league’s Canadian teams selected a total of 44 players that teams can use to fill regular roster spots.
Wyatt Greer of the Kenora U-18 Triple-A Thistles was selected first overall by the Kenora Islanders.
Affiliated players can be called by the junior teams when they need to fill a regular roster spot.
