Kenora OPP make drug arrest on Highway 17 east

The Kenora OPP have seized over $18,400 worth of illegal drugs during a traffic stop.

Police say they stopped a vehicle on Highway 17 east last Wednesday (December 4th).

A search of the vehicle uncovered 25 grams of fentanyl and a couple of hydromorphone pills.

A 36-year-old man from Kenora and a 26-year-old woman from Grassy Narrows have been arrested on trafficking charges.

They remain in custody pending a future court date.
