Kenora OPP arrest two for drug trafficking

Two people have been arrested following a drug bust in Kenora.

The Kenora OPP they seized 83.5, 8 milligram hydromorphone pills and other evidence of drug traffic trafficking during a traffic stop.

As a result, a 72-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman has been charged with trafficking an opioid.

The male suspect has also been charged with failing to comply with a release order.

He’s been remanded into custody pending a court appearance on Friday.

The woman has been released and will face the charges in Kenora Court on January 30th.
