Rock royalty held court in Studio H for SNL’s 50 Anniversary Bash. Eddie Vedder hooked up with The Roots for a performance of Pearl Jam’s “Corduroy” and a cover of Tom Petty’s “The Waiting”. Arcade Fire was joined by David Byrne and St.Vincent on a cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes”, while Post Malone joined the surviving members of Nirvana for a raucous cover of their huge hit, “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. Jack White closed the show by covering Neil Young’s, “Keep On Rocking In The Free World”.
One word: Wow!
