“It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jr Keesick, a beloved friend, family member, and remarkable human being. Jr left us unexpectedly, and his absence leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew him.

Born with a heartful of kindness, Jr touched the lives of countless individuals with his genuine nature, compassion, and generosity. His infectious smile, warm spirit, and unwavering support for those around him made him a pillar of strength in his community. Whether it was offering a helping hand to a friend in need or providing words of encouragement to anyone who needed it, Jr’s selflessness knew no bounds.

Jr will be remembered for his incredible ability to connect with others and make them feel valued and seen. His positive energy was contagious, and his genuine interest in the well-being of others left an indelible mark on all who were lucky enough to Cross his path.

Though his time with us was far too short, the impact Jr had on the lives of those around him will never be forgotten. He was more than a friend or a family member; he was a beacon of love, light, and compassion in a world that so often needs it. His memory will live on in the countless stories, laughter, and moments shared with him.

Jr leaves behind a grieving family and a wide circle of friends who will carry his memory with them always. His legacy of kindness, humility, and love will continue to inspire those who knew him, and his spirit will remain with us forever.

He is survived by his children Jermaine Keesick-Kokokopenace, Ayana Keesick-Kokokopenace, Chavez Keesick-Kokokopenace, parents Suzy Seymour (Blackhawk), aunts and uncles Tommy Taypaywaykejick, Virginia Taypaywaykejick, Glen Keesick, Lorelei, Joe Devlin, Josie Blackhawk, Cristine Blackhawk, Delores Kelly, Gerald Blackhawk, siblings: Dwan Blackhawk, Delaney Keesick, Armand Keesick, Jenn Keewatin, cousins Jamie Blackhawk, Nadine Blackhawk, Carmen, Chris, Cardinal, Celina, Charlotte and Julieen Blackhawk.

He is predeceased by his siblings Helen Proulx, Thunderchild Keesick, uncles and aunties Irene Keesick, and his nieces and nephews, Calvin Blackhawk, Damian Blackhawk, Kitana Blackhawk, Creedence, Micheal, Danaya, Rylan, Sierra, Jessica.

A private memorial service will be held to honor his life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Jr’s memory.

Rest in peace, Jr. You will be deeply missed, but your kindness will never be forgotten.
