It’s Pothole season!
If you’re driving around and noticing that some particular potholes are awful, you might be thinking to yourself…“I wonder how long it’s going to take them to get around to fixing this?”
Maybe it’s all about drawing attention to them.
A resident in the small village of Castle Camp in England recently decided to raise awareness about a local pothole that was roughly 3 feet in width and length and about 3 inches deep.
This person, along with their spouse and young children, build a pair of wooden legs and feet, dressed them in jeans and shoes and then secured the base down in the hole to make it look like a small child had fallen in head first.
Their prank caught the attention of many people within the community, most importantly the village maintenance crews.
Within four days of the legs’ first appearance the hole was finally filled in after 8 months of neglect.
