The Super 8 by Wyndham in Kenora is not a polling station in the federal election.

If your voter information card says your polling station is the Super 8, you should utilize the Norman Community Hall Polling Station instead.

“Two Voter Identification Cards went sent to voters in those polls,” said a spokesperson with Elections Canada. “The first one indicated that the polling station was to be at the Super 8 Motel. Shortly after, it came to our attention that the Super 8 Motel was no longer available.”

“We then issued another Voter Identification Card stating that the new polling station would be at the Norman Community Hall. The correct location is therefore the Norman Community Hall. If voters show up at the Super 8 Motel, there are signs redirecting them to the Norman Community Hall.”

Voting in the region will remain open until 8:30 p.m. Central Time and 9:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
