In his younger years, he enjoyed playing sports. He especially loved to play soccer. As he became older, his disability became more difficult for him to continue doing things he loved such as, sports, hunting, fishing, rice picking or going for walks. He looked forward to having his friends over visiting him. They would watch a game of Hockey, wrestling and/or action movies. Weeks had quite a sense of humour, always telling funny stories and jokes. He enjoyed listening to all genres of music but his favourite was Pow Wow music. He would often invite the drummers to come and sing at his residence. Despite his health challenges, Weeks continued to have a positive outlook on life. He taught us to live with kindness, patience and respect.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Pinecrest Home staff and Kenora Hospital nurses and doctors for the excellent care they provided for Weeks throughout his time at the home and also in his time of need at the hospital.
His memory will be cherished forever.
