A historic mine site near Nestor Falls will be the subject of an exploration project this summer.
Golden Rapture Mining says it has struck a deal with a Minnesota individual to explore the former Bully Boy Mine, making it a 50/50 partner.
The mine site is believed to have operated in the late 18-hundreds during what is known as the Lake of the Woods Gold Rush.
It is located adjacent to Golden Rapture’s Phillip’s property, another historic site where eighteen mine shafts exist.
No cash or shares are being exchanged in the agreement, but Golden Rapture says it is picking up the tab of the exploration expenses.
