Lyle’s unique personality, charisma, easygoing nature, sense of humor, and wit could turn anyone into a friend. He was genuine and would give the shirt off his back, as he had done before. A dedicated Toronto Raptors fan, Lyle also graduated with a social services diploma and spent many years working with Ontario Works in his community, helping those in need. He will be deeply missed by many who knew him. Although Lyle may no longer be with us, his spirit, love, and kindness will live on in our hearts forever, and his love for his community will never be forgotten.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Treaty #3 police, paramedics, Maaigan emergency services, the Kenora dialysis unit, medical staff, the Chief and council of Wabaseemoong, school staff, ONW, and the following individuals: Cindy, Roanna, Myrna, Elsie, Marilyn, Marlene, Mary, Dora, Donna, April, Cheyenne, Raven, Rayanne, Ryver, Lena, and Montana, as well as anyone else who assisted and supported us in our time of need.
