A section of the Coker Road that was closed to traffic in the fall, will continue to be closed.
The City says it has received a report from Stantec Engineering.
The city retained the engineering firm to carry out geotechnical work on the part of the road that sank just east of the Kelly Road.
Stantec says Coker Road remains unstable because of the current level of the water near the road bed.
The city says it will continue to monitor water levels in that area and provide a further updae when the water has receded.
In the meantime, Stantec and the city are reviewing options for fixing up that section of road for the upcoming construction season.
