Staff with the Northwestern Health Unit have received reports of two new positive COVID-19 test results in the Dryden health hub area.

Follow-up with those involved and their contacts has started according to protocols, and anyone identified as a contact for these cases will be reached directly by public health staff.

Overall, this marks the 30th straight day of new COVID-19 cases for the NWHU’s catchment area, starting on February 23. Staff have reported 647 total cases and 4 deaths, and 46 cases are currently considered active.

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms is asked to self-isolate, get tested and remain in isolation until your test results are known.
