The Kenora Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a person in Kenora for Drug Trafficking.
On Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at approximately 3:30 p.m. an ongoing investigation ended with a foot pursuit of the individual and an eventual arrest, and the person was taken into custody. Police seized drugs, Canadian currency, and a weapon.
As a result of the investigation, 32-year-old Harley Mcleod of Kenora has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Methamphetamine Section 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act(CDSA)
- Possessing Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling, sec 10(2) Cannabis Act(CA)
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to a Prohibition Order, sec 117.01(1) Criminal Code(CC) X2
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, sec 88 CC
- Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon sec 91(2) CC
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000, sec 354(1)(a)CC
The accused was held for bail.
