A section of Coker Road will be closed for at least one more month.
The section east of Kelly Road has been off-limits to traffic due to unstable conditions after the shoulder collapsed.
Starting next week, geotechnical work on the roadbed will take place.
Stantec Engineering is expected to have a final report for the city by the end of March or early April.
But they are supposed to provide an opinion on the safety of re-opening that portion of the road by early March.
That section of road was initially flooded last spring and was repaired once the water receded.
The City says there are no properties affected.
