Alexander James Colville-Assin

Alexander James Colville-Assin, a member of Grassy Narrows First Nation and a resident of Hamilton, Ontario passed away on March 3rd, 2023 at his residence in Hamilton, Ontario at the age of 41 years.

Alexander was predeceased by his grandparents Matthew Beaver, Irene Assin, Mary Ann Keewatin, and David Assin, his aunt and uncles Helen, Lisa, Patricia, Martin, Vernon, and cousin Taylor Assin.

Alexander leaves behind his mother Teresa (Rudy) Turtle, his brother and sisters Lynn, Fraser, Victoria, Dean and Jianne, aunts Marcella and Debbie Assin, Jackie, Laura, Pauline and uncle Stanley Assin, great uncles Pete and Roy Assin, his close cousins Reagan and Mary, his many second cousins Josephine, Latoia, Summer, Gino, Angel, Lisa, Ray, Skylar, Taylor, Pet and Matthiis, as well as many other relatives too numerous to mention.

A Wake service will begin on Friday, May 5, 2023 beginning at 4:00pm at the Trappers Building in Grassy Narrows First Nation.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Trapper’s Building in Grassy Narrows First Nation with inurnment to follow.
