Gabe Mastromatteo might have some competition in the pool in a couple of years.

His brother, Tazio Mastromatteo competed at the All-Ontario swimming championships this week in Windsor.

He placed sixth in the two races he competed in, the 100-meter breaststroke and the 100-meter individual medley.

Despite recovering from a broken collar bone, Mastromatteo set personal best times in both of his events.

His  1:07.13 100m breaststroke time and 1:03.2 100m individual medley were faster than his preliminary times.

Mastromatteo was the only swimmer representing St. Thomas Aquinas at the OFSAA championships.
