On Feb. 5, some time between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. a 15 year-old male from Kenora wearing a black and red “bush” style jacket, black gloves and a black and red toque was walking in the area of Hwy. 17 East, when he was assaulted by an unknown suspect(s). The youth was later taken to Lake of the Woods District Hospital by family members, where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
The Kenora OPP Detachment Crime Unit is investigating the incident, and they're asking anyone with any information about the crime call them at 548-5534 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
