Waaring their new red jerseys and socks, the Lake of the Woods Atoms went into this weekend's tournament in Vermillion Bay. They took on the Red AtoMc from Dryden with a competitive victory of 4-2 for the 'A' side GOLD Sunday afternoon.
"Our boys learned to work as a team this weekend, and through these last few weeks they have learned sportmanship, leadership, being part of a team and ultimately the most important part of the game... Having fun!" said coach John Fraser.
The annaul Vermillion Bay tournament hosted teams from Ignace to Kenora.
