
In minor hockey, the bantam AA Paper Kings went 6-0 over the weekend to caputure gold in their first tournament of the season.
They defeated Ft. Frances 7-2 in Sunday's final to improve their undefeated record to 13 wins and a tie. Their next tournament starts this Friday in Ft. Frances.
A reminder of the Breakfast Club with sessions every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30am to 7:30am.
The club is open to all players even, if you are not registered with DMHA, but full equipment is required.
The kids will be put through various skill development drills focusing on skating, puck handling, passing and transition skating for 50 minutes. They will be allowed 10 minutes of free time at the end to practice skills on their own.
Once off the ice they will be fed breakfast courtesy of EXTRA FOODS. The breakfast will consist of cereal, milk, juice and muffins.
There is no cost for this program. Randy Allen and various other local instructors will be conducting drills.
