Beaver Brae is hosting a job fair this week.
Ignite Your Future will take place this afternoon.
Sherrie Quistberg helps out with the co-op program and says they’ve had excellent support from the community.
“We have over 45 community partners that will be in attendance on the day of,” says Quistberg.
“And it’s an opportunity for them to share their knowledge and expertise with students and also for students to gain future or summer employment.”
Quistberg says while the event is being put on by their co-op students, the public is welcome to attend.
“Some of the organizations will be hiring. Some are there for informational purposes, but overall it’s a great event and we’re looking forward to the opportunity to share with the community.”
Ignite Your Future takes place from 12:30 to 3:30 in the Beaver Brae large gym.
