The Beaver Brae Broncos girls hockey team had a perfect 5-0 record at the annual Pembina Valley Girls High School Hockey tournament over the weekend. In Pilot Mound, Man., they beat the Dryden Eagles 2-1 in the A-side final.

Ainsley Lindquist and Hannah Rose scored for Kenora, while Alexis Reid got the lone Dryden goal. Lindquist was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. The tournament
all-star team included Annie Johnson from Kenora, along with Reid and Morgan Church from Dryden.

The two teams meet again Tuesday evening in Kenora, as the regular-season for NorWossa High School hockey returns, after the exam break.
