Confirming the news earlier this week, Canada will be returning to the World Cup in 2026.
As one of three host countries, Canada automatically qualified for the next tournament since playing for the first time in 2022 since 1986.
In a first for the organization, three countries will be hosting; Canada, the United States and Mexico with all three counties expected to play.
Toronto and Vancouver are slated to be host cities for the 2026 World Cup
