The City of Kenora has filled one of it’s key vacancies.
A new director of Planning and Building Services has been hired.
Janis Pochailo takes over the role starting on June 5th.
She was born and raised in Kenora but has worked in Calgary and most recently was a community planner and a regional manager overseeing the Steinbach and Morden offices.
Pochailo was also the president of the Manitoba Professional Planners Institute from 2020 to 2022.
She’ll oversee both the Planning and Building departments in the City of Kenora.
