As the holidays approach, Grade 10 civics students at Beaver Brae Secondary School used a vote and democracy to determine who they would support this Christmas.

“Students and teachers dropped off jackets, ski pants, some boots as well. Hopefully, all these donations will help those in need keep warm as it gets colder and colder,” said student Liam Forster.

The class chose the Kenora Makwa Patrol who work on keeping those on the street safe and warm, year-round.
