College starts women's hockey

Earlier today, Confederation College announced the addition of women’s hockey to their Thunderhawks sports lineup.

The 17-woman roster will be competing in a number of local and northern exhibition games. Their calendar this year will include out-of-town tournaments in Blaine, Minnesota and Winnipeg, with the intention of expanding their schedule in the years ahead.

Confederation has satellite campuses across the district. A complete roster of players has not been released.
