With summer fast approaching many cottagers have been busy during the winter delivering supplies for cabin building.

While many use the ice roads, sometimes it's too late or getting to your cabin is impossible because of currents. That's when you call in the helicopter.

Forest Helicopters Inc was out on the lake last week delivering supplies to an island. They used the turn-in to Kenora Forest Products as their pick up and drop off point.

Many of the ice roads are now impassable due to the ice breaking up.
