The Northwestern Health Unit is warning residents that shopped at Cloverleaf Grocery Store in Emo on December 18th, 19th or 20th there is a very small chance they were exposed to COVID-19.

“The risk is very remote based on the information we have from a recent case in the Rainy River District, but out of an abundance of caution we are sharing this information with the public," said Dr. Kit Young Hoon, medical officer of health at the NWHU.

"Anyone who was at the grocery store on Dec 18 19 or 20th should self-monitor for symptoms. If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, self-isolate immediately and arrange to get tested at your local assessment centre,” Dr. Hoon added.

This warning comes as the health unit reported a new case of COVID-19 in the District of Rainy River earlier in the day.
