By Ryan Forbes Jan 27, 2023 | 10:49 AM

Defending Northern Ontario women’s champ Krista McCarville from Thunder Bay is a perfect 4-0 at the Northern Ontario Curling Tankard in Kenora.

McCarville and her team won both her games yesterday including a 10-2 victory last night over Jackie McCormick
from Stratton.

McCormick falls to 2-1.

Fort France’s Hailey Beaudry lost to Sudbury’s Bella Crosier 8-3 in the afternoon draw to fall to 0-3.

Croisier improves to 3-1 along with Kysta Burns, also from Sudbury.

On the men’s side, defending champion Brad Jacobs got by Sandy McEwan 10-6 and will play Trevor Bonot this afternoon to become the A-side qualifier in the page playoffs.

Both the Josh Szajewski rink from the Keewatin Curling Club and the Ryan Meadows foursome from the Kenora Curling Club will play this morning to avoid elimination after losing their games yesterday.

Szajewski will take on Dallas Burgess from the Port Arthur Curling Club and Meadows will meet Kory Carr, also from Port Arthur with 9:30 games at the Kenora Rec. Center.
