Families will once again be able to send their kids to the EarlyON Centre in Lillian Berg Public School, as the centre has reopened with a number of safety guidelines.

Staff will be wearing masks and face shields at all times. All adults and children in Grade 4 and above are also required to wear masks, while masks are encouraged for children over the age of 2.

Drop-in participants are now limited, and all families are asked to pre-register to attend the centre by calling 807-227-5437. The limitations are due to the size of the centre’s play space and social distancing requirements.

When arriving at Lillian Berg, you’re asked to ring the doorbell at the main entrance, someone will meet you at the door and ask you to complete a short Health Declaration Form. Children and parents / guardians who have symptoms of COVID-19 will not be allowed into the EarlyOn centre or Lillian Berg.

Additional cleaning and disinfecting practices are in place. If you, your child or a family member begins to feel unwell after attending the centre, you’re asked to contact them as soon as possible.

All of the centre’s snack items will be prepackaged, unopened and prepared. Families may bring their own food to the centre if they wish, but they must be prepackaged, prepared at home and not shared with others.
