It is with great sadness to the family of Edmund Joseph Indian, also known as “Toy” to many, aged 60, passed away in Winnipeg on Sunday, July 19, 2015.
Survived by his daughter, Lisa Staneart (Eric), his sons, Steven Indian (Carla), and Jaysen Indian (Violet). Also survived by his wife Arlene and lovingly cared for by Isabelle. Surviving siblings: Lorraine McCready (Steve), Lois Allen, Sandra Indian (Al), Leona Kelly (Tim), Ernie Indian, Brian Indian (Rachel), Joanne Indian (Fred). His grandchildren; Lauren, Ally, Stephane, Theron, Anthony, Janay, Jayla, Purity, Mikaela, Julianna, Kaitlyn, Makayla, and great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Shane and Skye.
Wake service will begin on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Onigaming First Nation School Gymnasium. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Onigaming First Nation School Gymnasium with interment to follow at Onigaming First Nation.
