The Kenora U18 Triple A Thistles were idle over the weekend, but that didn’t stop assistant captain Nick Fagnilli from getting a goal and an assist.
Fagnilli suited up as an affiliated player for the Kam River Fighting Walleye.
He scored in the Walleye’s 5-4 win Saturday night against the Thunder Bay North Stars and had the assist in Sunday’s 6-2 win over Red Lake.
It was the 17-year-old’s first goal in a Fighting Walleye uniform.
