The final weekend for Mount Evergreen Ski Hill is coming up and organizers are inviting the community out for one last run.

Friday night will feature night skiing from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm - a great way to enjoy the sunset on the slopes.

Saturday will see the Down Hill Dummy race! For your dummies, they can be anything on a set of skis that make it down Sky Line and over a jump. Be sure to be creative! Dummies should be entered by 10:00 am with the race going at 2:00 pm.

Sunday is the big day and the annual year-end slush pit.

"The slush pit that we dug out is about 40-50 feet long. We also have a cross-section for younger or newer skiiers. You come rocking down the hill and you have to do your best to get across it. It's a lot of fun!," says Carson McCallum with the ski hill.

Costumes are strongly recommended as prizes will be handed out to the winner.

Everyone is welcome to the ski hill to participate or to watch the activities. Beverages and food will be available to purchase.

Mount Evergreen Ski Hill is a volunteer-run organization and McCallum wanted to take a moment to thank everyone involved.

"It's been a crazy season with COVID. A huge thank you goes to our staff and volunteers who worked tirelessly throughout the season. We are a little hill with a big heart. Without them we wouldn't have what we have," he says.
